A Bigler native, for Pastor Loretta, a major part of her growing up centered around the Evangelical United Brethren Church where she responded to the salvation message in her early teen years.

Married life was spent in Clearfield working and raising two daughters. Challenges arose, yet an invitation to attend Hyde Wesleyan Church and later to accompany a mission group to eSwatini prompted a reevaluation and redirection of her life.
When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. (Psalm 94:18)
In 2010, she became part of the church staff as a licensed minister under the designation Assimilation Pastor. It has given her the opportunity to connect with those who are rediscovering Hyde Wesleyan Church or encountering it for the first time. Study and mentorship brought Pastor Loretta to ordination in the Wesleyan denomination in 2016.
